It is attached to the flagpole rope via a slip knot. It will then clip onto one of the grommets of the flag. What this does is fasten the corner of the flag to the rope. Snap clips are adjustable, so if you need to change the size of your flag, you can easily adjust the slip knot and the rope to suit the new flag. WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
