The GG&G G2 tactical flashlight mount provides an inexpensive yet rugged dovetail mounting interface manufactured specifically for the Surefire G2 and G3 tactical flashlight models. Both the G2 and G3 Surefire flashlights have a main tube diameter between 1.015 and 1.030 inches. The GG&G one inch flashlight mounting ring is too small and a 30mm scope ring is too large, so GG&G decided to manufacture an inexpensive yet sturdy flashlight mounting ring specifically for the G2 and G3 flashlights. This ring will allow you to mount your flashlight directly to the dovetail on a weapons flashlight mount like the GG&G offset tactical flashlight mount. The body of the G2 flashlight mounting ring is manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and type III hard coat anodized matte black per mil-spec. All steel components have a Manganese phosphate matte black finish per mil-spec. At 1.3 ounces, it provides a lightweight method of attaching a Surefire G2 or G3 Surefire Nitrolon tactical flashlight to your firearm.
